Are you considering having an online webinar? Is there too much information online? Do you not know where to start? How about we start with a basic outline to help you with designing your online webinar. Maybe you have a topic you want to talk about and don't know where to begin.
Here are 5 important points to remember when designing your own online webinar.
1. What is the subject?
2. What physical area does this subject apply to?
3. Who is your relevant audience?
4. Why are they going to watch your online webinar?
5. What makes your webinar different and valuable to them?
Let's talk about the subject. Why do you want to write about the subject? What particular skills or experience do you have about the subject that you want to discuss? What areas have you researched or found interesting that you want to tell to help others with their quest and/or problem or opportunity.
Secondly, let's consider the physical area of your subject. What does this mean? Well it's kind of like if you are in the arctic or antarctic, though they may be similar climates they are 2 totally different areas in 2 different locations. So if you see what I mean, as well as Google likes to know, where are you and why? You must make it relevant to your local audience because every audience thinks differently. Which bring me to my next point.
Who is your relevant audience? Every audience is different and this is important. Why? Well each audience is influenced by certain thoughts, people, family history, traditions, local cultures, local acceptances. It is important that you understand who you are speaking to as everyone may make something different of the words, languages and gestures you are using.
Probably one of the most important questions is: Why are they going to watch your online webinar? Why would they be bothered to take time out of their busy day to schedule in another webinar, especially yours. What make it funny? What makes it attractive? If you are just one person speaking, is that really effective?
The final question: What makes your webinar valuable to them? It is important that you just don't make another webinar on social media tools or fat fighting foods unless you relate it to something specific and relevant and timely. That is what's important, is it something I can use now? Is is something that is going to benefit me? These are just things to think about when designing your next online webinar.
